How It Works

Participants undergo a series of key assessments, each focusing on different aspects of soccer performance. Our system records the data in real-time, providing immediate insights into your performance. While the specific tests are subject to change, Capital-SP is committed to carefully defining technical skills based on actual capability, which may vary across different areas.

Performance Areas Covered

Endurance

Assessments that measure aerobic capacity and stamina are crucial for soccer players. As stated by Dribbler Soccer, "Soccer is an endurance sport. A player will frequently have a competitive advantage if they can play for 90 minutes while maintaining high flexibility, strength, and quickness." Developing endurance allows players to maintain high levels of performance throughout the game and reduces the risk of injuries.

Agility

Tests that evaluate quickness and the ability to change direction efficiently are essential for soccer. According to SoccerTake, "The ages between 10 and 13 are a pivotal developmental period for young soccer players, during which they experience significant physical, cognitive, and emotional changes." Developing agility during these critical years can greatly impact a player's future success.

Speed

"Speed endurance training drills can help build stamina over time, much like soccer speed training drills can help make speed," states Dribbler Soccer. Measurements of sprinting ability over short distances are vital for soccer, as players need to react quickly and accelerate during gameplay.

Power

How to Participate

To participate in our Soccer Testing System, teams and individual players can register through our online form. We encourage whole teams to register, offering a unique opportunity to assess collective and individual performance levels within their current environment. This approach provides coaches and players with a dynamic view of their strengths and weaknesses, facilitating targeted improvements.

On submitting the ‘Cert Registration Form’, you will be notified on a first come first serve basis to attend from a selection of upcoming testing dates and available slots periodically. Fees are $12.50 per test whether choosing TAPS tests or Certification testing which will be required when selecting. You will be informed of your results on the successful completion of your tests.

Our tests are designed with rigidity to ensure fairness and accuracy, creating a platform that equitably benchmarks an individual's performance among their peers. By participating, teams gain invaluable insights into their tactical and technical proficiency, enabling a comprehensive understanding of where they stand and areas requiring enhancement.
